I'm a Machine Learning Engineer at Derivco, where I take models from research into dependable production. My background is in data science; I completed an honours degree cum laude, built on an undergraduate foundation in application development, so I'm as comfortable shipping the interface as I am training the model behind it.
Alongside that, I run Mosaic Systems, a technology company delivering real, tech-forward solutions to its clients, across AI, data, automation, home labs, and hardware. It's where I take ideas the whole way: practical intelligence, built deliberately, for real use.
The thread through all of it is craft. I'm drawn to things that are engineered to last and rewarding to use, which is probably why, away from the keyboard, I'm usually found with a fountain pen, a mechanical watch, or a good book in reach.

A personal movie-and-media streaming service: my own hard-drive library served from a Raspberry Pi and streamable to any screen in the house — and to any trusted device, anywhere in the world, over a VPN. My own little cinema, no subscription required.
Old webcams repurposed into a smart security system: computer-vision detection flags activity, and online LLMs interpret each event and describe what's happening in plain language.
